Zhou Tianya was born in 1973,he lives in Shenzhen Special Economic Zone , in the Guangdong province of China. A graduate of Hubei Institute of Fine Art, he used to teach and was Dean of the Art Department at Jingchu academy of Technology. He is a signature member of China Artists Association(CAA), a Signature Member of National Watercolor Society(NWS,USA),a director of Shenzhen Artists Association, vice president of Luohu Artists Association, editor of Chinese Watercolour magazine, and by-invitation editor for Jilin Fine Arts Publishing House. Zhou Tianya’s work is held in private and public collections in China, France and the USA, and he is the author of The Case study of Chinese Contemporary Famous Watercolourists, published by Beijing Art & Design Publishing House. He has also written for several art magazines.

Biographie de M. ZHOU Tianya (French)
M. ZHOU Tianya, né en 1973, à Jingzhou, dans la province du Hubei, en Chine, est diplômé en enseignement des Beaux-Arts de l’Institut des Beaux-Arts du Hubei. Il a été directeur de la section Arts de l’Institut des Sciences de Jingchu. Actuellement, il est membre de l’Association des Artistes des Beaux-Arts de Chine, membre du Conseil de l’Association d’Artistes de Shenzhen et vice-président de l’Association d’Artistes du Quartier de Luohu de Shenzhen.
Ses oeuvres ont été sélectionnées pour des expositions organisées par les pouvoirs publics et les associations d’artistes chinois telles que les 9ième et 10ième Exposition Nationale des Beaux-Arts, les 5ième et 7ième Exposition Nationale d’Aquarelles et de Pastels, la 1ière Exposition Nationale d’Aquarelles de Portaits, la 2ième Exposition bi-annuelle d’Aquarelles « Prix de LI Jianchen », la Grande Exposition Nationale « Coupe Yaheng » des meilleures oeuvres, organisée par l’Association des Artistes des Beaux-Arts de Chine. Ses oeuvres ont également été exposées aux Etats-Unis, en Corée du Sud, au Japon, à Singapour, à Taïwan et à Hong Kong.
Ses oeuvres ont été primées plus de dix fois avec entre autre, la médaille de bronze de la 10ième Exposition Nationale des Beaux-Arts organisée par le ministère chinois de la Culture et l’Association des Artistes des Beaux-Arts de Chine, le prix des meilleurs oeuvres de la 7ième Exposition Nationale d’Aquarelles et de Pastels organisée par l’Association des Artistes des Beaux-Arts de Chine, la médaille d’or de la 3ième Exposition d’Aquarelles de la province du Guangdong, la médaille d’or de la 6ième Exposition de Photographies et de Calligraphies artistiques du Guangdong, le prix de nomination à l’Exposition des Oeuvres Classiques des 50 dernières années des Beaux-Arts du Guangdong et la médaille d’or de la Grande Exposition des Oeuvres d’Art en Calligraphie et en Peinture de la province du Hubei « Aller vers le 21ième siècle », etc.
Ses oeuvres sont présentes dans des collections privées et publiques en Chine et à l’étranger telles que le Musée des Beaux-Arts de Chine, le Musée des Beaux-Arts de Zhengzhou. Nombre de ses oeuvres et articles critiques ont été publiés dans des publications professionnelles et savantes, et présentés dans tous les médias. Ses oeuvres étaient présentes à de nombreuses grandes ventes publiques d’oeuvres d’art où elles ont rencontré un grand succès.
